Transformers Parade in China: Bumblebee Fans Gather in Beijing

It looks like it's going to be the year of the Bumblebee in China. The soon-to-be released Transformers 2 movie 'Revenge of the Fallen' inspired Chinese fans that took to the streets of Beijing over the weekend with a parade of Bumblebee flavored cars of various sorts and types including a VW Santana, a Citroen C4, a Ford Focus and many Chevy Aveo and Cruze models. The somewhat comical parade of random yellow cars with black-stripes was led of course by a 2010 Camaro SS. Follow the jump to check out the pictures.

2010 Camaro Transformers Bumblebee Edition Reportedly Announced by GM

The Chevy fan-boys over at Camaro5 are reporting that GM has just announced to its dealers through a live broadcast the introduction of a limited edition 2010 Camaro Bumblebee version that pays homage to the homonymous film car of the Transformers Movie series. General Motors has yet to issue an official press release, but according to the tipster, the car will be available for order from June 1 with production running from June 24 through December.

Aside from the 'bumblebee' black and yellow rally stripes, the special edition 2010 Camaro that will be offered in both LT and SS forms will get Transformers badging on the wheel centers, sill plates and embroidered on the console lid - just don't expect to see it transforming into a robot...

Transformers 3 "Dark of the Moon" Trailer goes Live

Get ready for the third installment of Michael Bay's Transformers franchise as the first trailer of the upcoming new movie called Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, has hit the air. Being that Megan Fox abandoned the series, we're somewhat less excited about this one, and the new trailer, which gives a fictional twist to Neil Armstrong's 1969 moon landing, ain't helping much either. Chevy Cruze Transformers Bumblebee Edition: Made in China

From what we know, Chevy has no plans of introducing any other Bumblebee Edition model other than the one based on the new Camaro Coupe, but that didn't stop an avid Transformer fan in China from giving his Chevy Cruze sedan the full Autobot treatment. We're not sure if the project includes anything else other than the yellow paint finish with the twin black rally stripes and the matching details, but you can check out the modded Cruze in all its glory in the photo gallery after the jump.
